Client Name: Kim Hamilton and Jane Bamford
Location: Queenstown, Queenstown Lakes District

“The support has been amazing, and we are so grateful to have been able to access assistance to help us through this time. We have new, updated systems and contracts now, which will help us for a long time to come.”
Addstaff deals with providing temporary and permanent staff to Queenstown’s hospitality and general labour markets.
They have experienced significant downturn both in both available jobs to fill, and available candidates, since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Most of Addstaff’s worker registrations came from travellers, so they have no resource of candidates, and the businesses they work with are also quiet.
Although at first glance Addstaff does not appear to be a ‘tourism’ business, they service tourism businesses, and therefore qualify for the Tourism Communities funding. Addstaff applied for the funding with Otago RBP, and worked with their Growth Advisor, Lucy Geraghty, to access support for marketing, legal expertise, and systems training.
