Business South Expands YES Programme to Queenstown and Wanaka
Business South is excited to announce the expansion of its Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) programme to Queenstown and Wanaka, alongside its long-standing Dunedin programme. As part of our continued commitment to fostering the entrepreneurial spirit across Dunedin schools, Business South has stepped in to manage the Queenstown and Wanaka programme for the 2025 school year onwards.
Formerly overseen by the Southland Chamber of Commerce, the Queenstown programme is now managed by Business South. With team members based in Queenstown and Wanaka, Business South is well-positioned to run the Queenstown programme efficiently and effectively. This move will allow for more streamlined coordination and support, drawing on Business South’s established network, including the Regional Business Partner (RBP) network, to further assist young entrepreneurs in the Queenstown Region.
The YES programme offers high school students the chance to develop their own business ventures, providing them with valuable skills and knowledge that will set them up for future success in the business world. Business South is excited to support and mentor the next generation of innovators and leaders throughout the Otago Region.
